Kobe Bryant Interview
Question #1: What made you start playing basketball ?
Answer:I started playing basketball real young. I was about 6 years old when I started playing and after that I just never wanted to stop.
Question #2: What do you enjoy most about playing?
Answer What I would say I enjoy the most is the competition. I love going out every night trying to compete and doing all that I could so that I could get my team to win.
Question #3: What do you plan on doing with your days since you don’t have practice anymore?
Answer: Basketball is still a part of me and it has been for a really long time. I plan on just working out putting some shots up and spending more time with my wife and kids.
Question #4: Who influenced your game the most?
Answer: Michael Jordan, I studied him and I tried to mimic some of the moves he’s done and that’s what I think has gotten me to the spot that i’m at today.
Question #5: How did it feel going straight out of highschool into the NBA?
Answer: It was an amazing experience for me. It was something that didn’t seem real at the time and I was lucky enough to be good enough to be able to experience that.
Question #6: You’re a 4 time NBA championship winner. How did it feel getting your first ring?
Answer: There were so many emotions going through my head at the time all I could do was smile and be happy to celebrate with my team.
Question #7: How do you feel your leadership helped the lakers?
Answer:I love the lakers and I love everything about them. I chose to be the leader on the team because not only did I put the work in, I wanted to see the organization and the team be successful as well.
Question #8: How did it feel to be the only player in NBA history to score 60 points in his final career game?
Answer: It was amazing, the most indescribable feeling i've ever had. To go out on my final game and compete one last time was one of the most surreal feelings i've ever had.
Question #9: What made you retire?
Answer: I’m getting old. I love the sport of basketball and I am just not able to go out there and compete as much as I want to.
Question #10: Do you miss it?
Answer:Every day. I hate not being able to go out there and do what I love to do the most with the team that I love the most and the fans that I love the most. My body is just not capable of doing the things that it was once able to do. Basketball is still something that is very close to me because after all these years I don’t know what to do with my life as it consumed so much time.
